zestfiveThis weekend was pretty good. Friday was spent doing laundry and watching a movie some iceland movie about a man who slept with his lesbian mother's girlfriend. It was interesting but not especially great. I went to be at 10 which was amazing !
Saturday I worked the part time job and met another local lesbian who is from the town next door. She apparently is a go go dancer at Lucy's and invited me to her show on the 17th. I'm not sure if I'm going to go but from the looks of my calender I might be able to make it.
Saturday afternoon was spent reading articles for school this weekend. I got my first paper back too. Happy, Happy, Joy, Joy, I got an A ! I also watched "Anna and the King" and took a nice walk in my neighborhood down by the lake in the dark. Good for me to get some exercise !
Sunday was church and then shopping for a winter coat. I really hate shopping but I was able to get my rings put back into circles, two of them were quite bent. TK started talking about getting an anniversary band for me. I avoided that conversation. I'm not comfortable accepting something like that without having similar mutual feelings.
I never did find a winter coat that I liked. I did find one for A though and even got $10 off for opening a charge card which I will dutifully cancel and cut up after paying it off.
Driving to work today I realized that this week is the Out and Equal conference. I'm taking off Friday to volunteer(cause I'm not comfortable asking my job to sponsor me to attend and I can't afford it...time and money). I'm looking forward to it and I know it will be fun.

Date: 2003-09-29 06:50 pm (UTC)I am in sympathy with you about the anniversary band concern. Relationship stuff can be tricky, and there is no rule book. I know, because I have wasted a lot of time in used book stores looking for it.
