What a holiday!!!

zestfiveI've been so busy, I can't imagine working right now. I spent an average of 2 days per parent celebrating X-mas. These are things I did... cooked veggie sheppard's pie for me kidney troubled father, rode light rail(new) to IKEA, took a walk before he went to Chicago to see his sweetie...bowling, yummy mexican restaurant, played lots of games such as nerds, farkle and rummy, cleaned up my living room. Gifts received included gift card for massage, sponge candy in both white and milk chocolate, flannel sheets for my bed, and again my father was amazing. He made each one of his daughters a stain glass window. It's stunning. I love it.
New Years was spent with my favorite friend RD. EL now is living there and even though, I worry about the dynamics and etc, I'm getting to know EL a little more and like her more as I do. RD and EL had a get together and people gathered, ate and played Cranium. I was able to stay over and when we woke up, EL made eggs with pepper, onion, tomatoes and cheese, hash browns, english muffins and hash for us all. We also went for coffee at Caribou. So nice, it was a very nice time and RD was glowing and doing her happy dance. I love that girl!
On New Year's Day I went to the Dance at the Hilton. I wore those neon glow bracelets(10) and necklaces (5) and passed them out to any lovely woman who was willing to give me a hug or kiss. I only had one left at the end of the night. I did have fun meeting and seeing everyone.
Today I decided that I'm going to apply for a scholarship to go on a 4 day women's dog sledding trip in the Boundry Waters at the end of the month. I'm not sure if I can pull it off by then, but I'm willing to try. I've always wanted to do something like this.
