Oct. 31st, 2004 07:14 amSo, I think it was Thursday where I'm doing my PAID internship, (it still makes me a happy!) and there's been an "interesting" individual come in to request some assistance on a book. "Modern Biology" we were able to learn that it was at the large University library. This individual I believe is a man who is tall with a slight build with long blond hair. He also has a number of tattoos up and down his arms and wears long fake blue fingernails. One of the other librarians recognized him as someone who's been banned from other libraries because of stealing books. He ends up taking things on quantum physics from the 1950's and etc. When he continued to come to our library we finally decided to check him out the next time we saw him(I had seen him the previous day leaving with a large bag and bundle under his arm). I mentioned his description to the student worker who recognized him within a couple of hours and we were able to call security. Security did a search and found another book from the large University (which according to the catalog should be still sitting on the shelf) and a book from our library which had the tattle tape sticking out(is that what the fake fingernails are for?). It was all quite an adventure and he's been band from the library where I work at but the large University didn't do anything except request their book back.
