Poor Kitty

When I got home last night, I discovered that my poor cat's cut foot has gotten infected. Her foot has swollen up twice (or more her normal size) and it's not just the angle of the pic!



It's bleeding and sore so I had to keep her from licking it so I had to create one of those collar type things out of a milk jug. 



She's not very happy. Since I had to go to work today (I'm the only one on) P came home to take her to the vet. She's got a temp, a new collar (because the homemade one came off) and some antibiotics. She's going to be stuck in the bathroom for a while. I'm sure she's very pleased about it. I'm just glad that P was able to come home to take her, they were able to get her in and P's back at home so she can sleep!

Apparently Jinx, the other cat bit her and it became abscessed. I think Jinx feels bad...he worries about her and when I go into the closed bathroom to help poor "lady" he always wants to come in too. He usually just sits and watches.

yeah, she was so not happy about it. The new one from the vet is much better, who wants a milk jug on their head! GRIN

Oh!!!

I just shouted "OH!" and interrupted my cat's concentration on the birds outside.

Poor kitty! look at that paw! And that homemade collar! *wants to give kitty love*.

Who says I'm not a cat person? My heart just flew halfway across the state.

GRIN, wow, this pic sure got a lot of attention, I'll have to post pics more often! GRIN

She's doing much better, perhaps I should post of the better design of the $16 collar from the vet.
