I was gone almost a week, at a leadership institute from Tuesday through Friday, stop at home to drop off dirty clothes and pick up clean clothes before I went to "winter camp". We got home on Sunday night and went right to bed. Today I had an interview and then went to work. I'm going to go home and do laundry, make dinner and have a conversation with my father. I miss him. I tried to talk to him while I was driving but he didn't like that idea. I did however talk to my mom. It's her birthday today so I thought I'd call her. I'm glad I did even if I'm been avoiding her lately.

I'm going home soon to catch up on everything left undone.

You seem to have to travel a lot. Is that a normal part of your job or have you just happened to have done a lot of traveling lately?

I love to travel but mostly I haven't because I want to be there for my son. I have done more travel lately because of the spring break and then leadership institute (which I happen to live the closest to of all the attendees - about 15 miles). Weekends away although not part of my job, are always fun!
