Spring break possibilities

So...an email came to me today about a department on campus who is looking for "staff or faculty" leaders (which I think I qualify as even though I'm a "fixed term") for the alternative spring break program. They have spots open for Biloxi, MS (hurricane support) or Golden Pond, KY (USDA Forest Service). I'm so very tempted. It would be of minimal cost, get me to a part of the country I've never been before, look good on my review and I think it would be fun. I like the hands on experience like these. The concerns that I have is that I'd be away from my son (I think my sister would watch him) and away from my love... I don't know a whole lot about it other than I would be working with some students to help plan it and probably drive the van down to KY or MS. I think I'm leaning to KY.

This motivates me all the more to get my house clean during this break so I've got the time for spring break.

Biloxi, MS is just a few hour drive from Camp Sister Spirit in Ovett,MS! That is an awesome place... not too far from New Orleans either. That would be so much fun!

I remember driving to Biloxi, just to pick up a car. That is where the mechanic was.... it is so close you could come for dinner and go home for bed. LOL
