Not a fun way to start my morning
Jan. 14th, 2006 03:03 pmI am sorta awake when I hear this hissing sound. Yeah, one of the hoses behind my washing machine sprung a leak, fortunately I know where my water shut off valve is and I could go shut it off, I found the leak and ran to the hardware store. Fixed it and now I'm hoping the water dries quickly. It's probably a good idea to try and clean up down here some. Although, I don't really want to...I'm not in the mood. Although I really shouldn't wait for the mood, I should just do it!
My bedroom is in the basement, the boy is in the master bedroom upstairs. My office is in the 2nd bedroom upstairs, although that will likely change at some point. Our internet is now brought to us through cable and the cable connections upstairs don't work. I'll move my office downstairs. It's not such a big deal now that I'm don't have to worry about needing it quiet to work on papers at etc. The question remains, what to make of that extra bedroom. Previously I thought I'd buy one of those loft beds and put my desk underneath. This is when I was thinking of taking in a roommate. Now, I wouldn't want to squeeze two people in a single bed.
The boy is going to a retreat tonight until Monday morning. I'll be going with P to some friends or maybe dancing. We haven't nailed it down yet. She's sleeping, she's been working hard the last few days, 12 hrs and etc, overtime. In reality, she doesn't get a weekend. She has to work one job on Saturday and the other on Sunday. Also she doesn't have MLK day off. I on the other hand, should be working harder than I am. I'm working on the laundry (which is never endeding...especialy when I don't do it.)
I also discovered that my digital camera that I took pictures with last weekend, messed up and I lost pictures. I don't know why. darn it anyway.
I find that when I'm running so fast for so long when I don't have to run, I don't want to do anything. But, I should do something because everything has fallen in shambles around me. Tuesday I start working full time and the income will be nice and being at home at night will be nice, I hope I can get used to it.
