Oct. 9th, 2006 06:24 amJust caught up on the LJ posts, mostly just read but posted for a couple. It took at least an hour and I filtered out my communities and only read personal journals.
I really should go get ready for work and jump in the shower. This was a good weekend.
Left work and P drove to a local casino where we had prime rib buffet, doubled our money and took a wonderful bubble bath in the jacuzzi tub. Woke up for breakfast, took some of the winings and played at the game room for 2 hours on $10. Even left with some geocaching trinkets.
Drove to S's cabin which we had been meaning to do for months. Drove around on the golf carts. S was a great cook and I enjoyed the food. Met her family, wonderful father, daughter and husband.
Got up and as they were leaving, we packed up quick and went for breakfast at Tobies, had some good conversation on the way home. Nice nap when we got back and a little putzing around before we closed the night be reading before sleep.
All in all a very good weekend.
