zestfiveWhat a week ! I was at a conference for the last half the week. Lots of networking going on. I feel like I'm slowly getting to know the library community because I recognize and know so many of the presenters and etc. I took a number of pens and etc for geocaching. Had fun and interesting conversations with many people. Let's hope something comes of it with regards to employment. Spoke to one of the coordinators at one of the libraries I work at regarding a potential fixed term position, she indicated they may hire a 18 month term versus a 9 month one.
It was also strange not to be working at night. A and I got to have dinner together 2 days in a row ! I stopped and picked up some new clothes and Tracy Chapman's new CD. I've listened to it a little bit, it's a little depressing but it fit the mood I was in at the time. Wednesday, I got to drive through the hail that came through the northwest suburbs. I have over a dozen dents in my car from the 2 inch hail. I'm just amazed that it didn't break the windshield.
I'm storing stuff for some friends in my garage and in exchange, they've helped me dispose of some old couches and etc. I really appreciate that. I'm hoping that at some point, I'll be able to get my house in order. I have so much space in those two rooms now.
I'm off to take a nap before I geocaching... ZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzz..........
