Happy Pride
Jun. 26th, 2005 08:01 pmgood weekend, tired, stayed up until after 4am with dear R and E, pride was good ran into lots of people, people I work with, friends and etc. Also saw my very first ex (henceforth known as "psycho") ex whom I would have NEVER have thought I would see her at Pride. When I knew her 5+ years ago, she was adament about not being gay because of her religious beliefs and etc. She apparently has since gone on to claim it(good for her)but she has many other problems...abusive to her kids, mental health issues and etc. I recognized her from a distance (she was between a couple of booths) and I was behind the booths from a distance...I think she saw me but once I realized who she was, I turned to look at the "beautiful architecture on Hennepin"....R and E said that she was still looking in my direction even after she was walking away. Talked to J later and she mentioned that she thought she recognized her in the parade. That's the only person that I wouldn't want to run into....anyone else, I wouldn't care.
I'm crashing early tonight...hoping to wake up early to wash dishes tomorrow morning...but if I don't...who cares.
Did I tell you I'm going to Tacoma next weekend? Me, my boy and some friends are going west...very exciting, I haven't been anywhere in like 5 years. Wish us fun times!
