Today my sister revealed that she was likely going to purchase a townhouse in my town. I'm glad for her because she will have what she wants, perhaps feel better about herself....cause she's kinda really negative about not accomplishing what she wants for herself. This would be a really good step in the right direction for her. I looked at the townhouse, it's very nice and she can actually afford it. As it's new and everything, it almost tempts me into thinking about how I want something new.... and at the same time, I also want something old with character...ooh, I just want it all !!!
Also on a yeah !!! note, my local area group got together and we had almost a dozen people show up. There were a few people who also thought about coming but didn't. We might get together for camping, bowling and etc. It was a wide range of folks. Some couples, guys, girls, parents...and I can only see it continue to grow. People even wanted to schedule another meeting in 2 weeks!!!
On a sadder note, I got a call from my Dad's partner. He's in the hospital again. He had trouble breathing when walking up stairs or far distances. This resulted in an attempt for a stress test for his heart, which he was unable to complete due to his blood pressure. They scheduled an angiogram which could throw him into immediate dialysis for his kidneys on Tuesday but when he started developing symptoms of inability to catch his breath while just sitting, he went in. The agiogram was moved up to tomorrow. He like me, is not used to being sick and I'm sure he doesn't like it. I wonder how old the oldest person with type I diabetes is? I'm not ready for him to go...
