zestfiveJust got to work and a coworker of mine didn't realize that I work late on Thursdays and so when she didn't seem me at the ref desk, came to check on me. We had a conversation yesterday when we both talked about dealing with hard stuff.
I do appreciate being cared about.
Yesterday a student gave me a set of earrings and a necklace that she brought, to show her appreciation for my help. I'm not always so good at accepting gifts but I don't want to seem rude to someone who is being so thoughtful. I'm so lucky to have a job that I enjoy so much and work with some amazing people...students and staff alike.
And friends too...while my life can sure get busy and the struggles I deal with, I have such gratitude for all that I have. I'm such a lucky dog.
So I remember a commercial I used to watch about Lucky Dog dog food and I was going to insert it here but when I went to youtube to look for it, it was stupid so I can't post it here because it's not like I remember and now I need to strike "lucky dog" from my mind.
