zestfiveI'm still alive but not in a place where I can often update my LJ. I'm very busy with everything and it's weird to have some assemblence of a weekend. Friday night was dinner with friends who are going to care for AF while I'm gone to the state library conference. I'm bring my resume printed on a bifold business card in hopes of networking. This will be a short week 3 days because the remaining 2 days will be at the conference. I will be staying at my mentor's house for Thursday night.
I've also got to respond to an opportunity for an interview for an library tech position. My fear is that it's not a professional position and will that be career suicide?
Saturday was getting things done around the house, slowly but surely. It feels good to get some stuff done.
I also did my first 2 hours of chat reference and even actually took a call! Yippee! That will look good on my resume.
Now I'm going to sleep!
