zestfiveI've been away from computers too much as of recently and it prevents me from posting...oh well.
My dad discovered a hernia in the last couple of weeks that he's apparently had since his birth. The doctor says it's probably a birth defect. He needed surgery to repair it which per insurance is a same day surgery. He's also a type 1 diabetic and has been since he was 18(he's 65 now...yes, 47 years with the dastardly disease). He went home but later ended up back in the hospital by ambulance. It took until the afternoon of the next day for him to be coherent. He had an allergic reaction to the pain killer. He should be good.
