Jan. 19th, 2011 09:47 pmFor those of you who remember my summer last year, how I had to go to this week long training up north. I stayed in my camper in a state park because I wanted to solitude, wanted to force myself to be alone. Then I later learned that I really didn't have to take those 3 classes. Over winter break I learned that one of the two instructors had a heart attack and passed away. You might also remember that I didn't pay attention to the deadline details and only completed my last class assignments by staying up all night to learn that they were really due two days before that. ZOINKS!!! The instructor let me send in my stuff anyways.... I finally got the last grade and I'm happy to report it was an A. Which on one hand I'm happy for, on the other hand, it doesn't really matter because turns they had waived them and on the other hand, I feel like they didn't have huge expectations for me as a Librarian and not a regular "for credit" teacher (Hey, how'd I get three hands? GRIN). Regardless, I think I'm glad I went....I did learn a little bit more about things that relate to my job and I'm done with it!
