I like my ipad a lot. I've got an itouch and I really like listening to podcasts, audiobooks and etc. I don't know that I would want the ipad in place of a computer because I equate it more with my itouch than a computer. For me it's more entertaining than work or school related. It's nice for checking email and looking at pictures and playing games. This is my opinion but it's also what I'm using it for. I should read a little more about how people are using this as far as productivity.
