Apr. 15th, 2004 07:18 pmSo is it just me or am I hearing all about trans stuff all the time? Tuesday I saw a show where within the story line..there was a FtM trans. I was really surprised because they portrayed some of the un-comfortability with the topic but it wasn't laughed at for what he choose to do.
I also so a news article about a 13 year old FtM who's parent passed away and they went to court to ensure that she would be able to take hormones, as she had been raised a girl.
Also apparently there is a politician from South(or North) Dakota who has announced his intention to transition after the end of his term to become a woman.
It's all very interesting to see more if it in the public eye.

Hooray for Visibility!

This is no way implies that I think your post was negative, because I don't. I expect that like other UUs you are probably pretty comfortable with transfolks.
