There's a couple of things that I know lots of folks have liked that I just didn't care for. Two things specifically are the movie "You've got Mail" and the two books I've read by Anne Lamott, "Blue Shoe" and "Operating Instructions: A Journal of My Son's First Year ".

I want to know what you haven't liked and why....

I don't like Donnie Darko, I don't get the hype.

I didn't like Blue Shoe, either. I won't read another Anne Lamott.

I didn't like House of Leaves by Mark Danielewski, either, which a lot of people rave about.

I can NOT believe how many people love U2... year after year after year. Okay, The Joshua Tree was very well received and I have to admit I don't own it, but have heard most of the cuts... but they just keep going and going ... and in my mind, it all sounds the same. Plus, I rather my pop icons are less political *unless they're Springsteen...hehehe*

So that's mine. Everyone loves U2, cept me and my Girl.. So that's one thing we've got...

Yeah, Anne Lamott just comes off as too neurotic for me.

I'd have to agree with you there. I did like their song "Sunday, Bloody Sunday" but that's probably it, granted I've not really listened to many deep tracks.
