cell phone and ring tones poll

I found some software that will turn my mp3s to ring tones. I don't even know what songs I might want. Here's where I ask you some questions...

I have a few others but that I can hear. So many songs are so soft that I can not hear them no matter what the volume is. I would love to have my friends favorite songs and have a separate ring tone for each but most like songs that would not let me hear the ring tone. I can hear Carole King! *giggles* It has to do with the pitch and style of the song. *grins*

yeah, now that I know how to do this, I would love to personalize folks. Although...most of the time my phone is on vibrate anyways.

I tried changing my ringtone, but I kept not answering my phone because I didn't recognize the ring. That's why I still have that weird R2-D2 chirpy thing.

My mom has one and sometimes lends it to my sister and I when we go on long distance drives. She had us make some ringtones for her but the only one she uses is A-Ha's "Take On Me". I would never pay for a ringtone when you can make one for free.

I never paid for them before because I'm CHEAP!! I finally was able to figure out how to make them free.

Yeah, I have a treo 755p and the software that comes with is is ptunes. I can play mp3s on my phone and then I downloaded minitones free and it will take a mp3 and edit it to have about 40 secs which I can make into a ringtone. Cool!
