The boy didn't get into the school he applied to. He said he has mixed feelings about it. He seemed to be okay though. I hope he'll talk to me more about it later.

ugh...I'm sorry...

as someone who hated/didn't fit in/quit early/self-taught/etc....(hence why I ended up at SCSU when I was a kid)...any help I can offer in finding alternative/charter/free/homeschool and unschooling options for him I'm happy to help.

Thanks, he seemed to have mixed feelings about it but appear to be okay with it. I think he was kinda intimidated by it all when he applied even if he was excited about it. He has talked about maybe joining the speech team next year. I think he's also coming out of his winter depression (like his father).
