 I literally spent all but my lunch at the ref desk. I wonder how it's going to be when there are no more fixed termers, will they always have adjuncts to cover the weekends? It really wasn't bad. I just don't want to work anymore. I'm writing a list of things to do between now and the end of the weekend. I'm trying not to fill it up too much. I know how my energy levels have been. 

I've got A this weekend and I know that I've been neglecting him. I hope that we can cook dinner together either today or tomorrow. Okay, I'm going home now....

Yeah, I think they'll always have adjuncts on the weekends (and evenings, too). I don't think the tenure-track librarians would work on weekends (pish posh! let the peons do it!) or evenings...I'm happy to pick up an evening here or there.

Well, I don't know that the future budgets will always allow for that. Although, I'm not sure how they will be able to do all they are suppose to do. Historically, they had to cover the nights and weekends without the adjuncts.
