Kaylin Haught, God Says Yes to Me

I asked God if it was okay to be melodramatic
and she said yes
I asked her if it was okay to be short
and she said sure is
I asked her if I could wear nail polish
or not wear nail polish
and she said honey
she calls me that sometimes
she said you can do just exactly
what you want to
Thanks God I said
And is it even okay if I don't paragragh
my letters
Sweetcakes God said
who knows where she picked that up
what I'm telling you is
Yes Yes Yes

Yesterday I went to a local private school in the cities to help copy catalog some books. I'm doing this in place of a final for the class I'm currently taking. We had the choice to do a final(10 pages or so) or 15 hours of cataloging. I choose the latter for the experience and it would look good on the resume. It was pretty easy and I learned a whole bunch. Including how poor some private school library collections are ! Some of these books were from 1950's ! These were classics so they wouldn't change much but graciousness ! It's also a catholic school and some of those books are icky. Such as this lovely gem !
