(no subject)

So today before work I had to go and pick up my mother's car from the garage and bring it back to her. TF picked me up at home at 6:30 and I was back home by about 7:45 which allowed me to grab my stuff and be only a few minutes late to work. This makes me happy because Saturday I dropped off my car which was having muffler problems to the garage. I was fearing $200-300 worth of work and needed to get the oil change on top of it. Total cost was less than $100 !!!

Saturday I went to class and after met some people for dinner. The problem with my mother's extra car is that the gasket by the window is ripped out(this means that the COLD air blows in right at my head) additionally, the thermostat in her car is too low for winter. It never really warmed up. It SUCKED ! I didn't go anywhere on Sunday because I didn't want to drive the cold car.

Sunday night I almost forgot that I didn't have to work on Monday for either job...I was so happy ! I enjoyed my time and slept in Sunday and Monday. Monday afternoon I drove into the cities and stopped at Aldi's(had never been there before) Half price books(great clearance section !) and then off to the airport to meet a friend and his two kids on a layover. I had originally started talking to him 5-6 years ago on the net and we've stayed in touch. He lives in Alaska and I knew him before his kids but was happy to meet his kids. They were adorable.

So today is Tuesday but feels like Monday and I like that !
