Lost posts

So I figure I'll try and remember what I attempted to post the last time. It had to do with driving home the other day, where I was pulling out of a residential neighborhood where I take a shortcut to avoid a bad intersection where there isn't a right turn lane. I'm driving my late model Honda Civic with a small assortment of stickers on it(rainbow peace signs on both rear side tiny windows, rainbow squiggle at the back window, "Open Hearts, Open Minds Unitarian Universalists" on the bumper and clipped to my visor is "No war in Iraq". I'm driving towards this mini van and the driver is a man who sticks his tongue out and wiggles it at me. I wonder, am I being paranoid, does he not like my Iraq sticker ? What's the deal...was it not even directed at me ? It was weird.

That same drive home, 10 miles down the road and therefore safely way from the weird tongue wiggling guy, I notice a turtle in the middle of the road. I pulled the car over and waited for the traffic to clear so that I could get it safely across. Just as I was getting back to my car, another car had pulled over and was backing up to my car. I sheepishly had to let her know that I was just rescuing a turtle. I was pretty happy though to know that people still stop...
