Tell me what you dream about doing in your future. It doesn't matter how far-out-there these goals may be, I would love to hear about them.

I've pulled this from [profile] alissarocks444  and thought I'd force myself to actually dream and not just plan.

This caught my eye because P and I lead our couple's group last weekend and this was our topic. We choose it because I tend to run practical about my dreams and P does fantasy. What usually happens is that I squash her dreams because I almost call them goals and I work towards them and accomplish them...I need a little more fantasy.

Some of my dreams and goals*:

work part time
travel more
see Alaska
see Australia or New Zealand
loose weight, get into a size 14 or smaller
clean my house
find full time permament employment that I enjoy
learn and practice regularly yoga, meditation or something similar
Get outside more
get a dog when I can give it the time and attention it needs (and it fits my lifestyle)
Live in communal/cooperative housing
Hike the appalachia trail
Live in the present instead of the future
Learn how to handle failure
Eat healthier
move more regularly (as in exercise)

*(as with all of me, I'm a work in progress)

Alright....Your turn!! :-)

I've actually been working on this because of "The Secret". I made a little collage of things I want for myself. I've got photocopies at home and at my office and I try to remember to look at it everyday - really look at it and think about it, not just glance. Here's what I've got:
Visit Andalucia, Spain
Buy a teardrop trailer (camper) and a vehicle that can pull it.
Take care of my feet
Be debt free
Have flowers every week
Complete my degree
Smell plumeria
Work on Antarctica
Be healthy
Go to Gunflint Lodge
Get regular massages
Fall in Love and find a good match (it's actually a picture of a cute woman, smiling and holding a bouquet of flowers - I wanna be her, I want her to smile at me, and I want us to share the flowers)
I want $7,000
Go to Hawai'i at least once per year
Travel extensively and use up my passport
Achieve the goals I set for myself so all my Darumas have two eyes.

As far as hiking the AT, have you ever read Bill Bryson's "A Walk in the Woods"?

I have and it's wonderful. I think you'd also really like "The last American Man" about a modern day mountain man who owns this http://www.turtleislandpreserve.com/
