The on-ramps are slippery
Feb. 7th, 2007 05:02 pmI'm driving to work today and as I'm exiting off the main road onto another main road which intersects over the road that I was just traveling on, I had a spin out. It's not hard to do in this car, it's so light when I got my flat, I could lift it a little to get the jack underneath. It wasn't too bad spinning out, I didn't go into any on coming traffic, didn't go off the road too much. I ended up spinning around and facing the wrong direction on the side of the road. I took a deep breath, waited for a truck to go by and calming turned around and went on my way. Unfortunately the key card to my gym was hanging from my rearview mirror and I ended up getting my pinkie finger cut open in two places from the metal on it. It wasn't really too bad, sliced near the one knuckle and then at the base of my pinkie finger.
Now, I'm going to go home from work. I had to teach two extended instruction classes today but I think it went well.

Date: 2007-02-08 07:53 pm (UTC)Spring begins on January 10 sun and temps above 50 degrees
Summer begins on June 1st and the temp doesn't get above 80 degrees
Fall begins on Sept 1st and the temp doesn't go below 40 degrees
Winter is from Dec 1 which is light snow 1-2 inches arriving only at night and melting dry on the roads and sidewalks before morning. Snow increases to allow a foot of it for Christmas (but still only arriving during the night and gone on the roads and sidewalks before daylight) Temps stay between 25 and 30 until Spring arrives on January 10th.
Where might I find that?
