I made spaghetti but didn't have enough sauce. I dumped a can of sloppy joe sauce into it. It wasn't too bad...a little sweet and spicy or maybe smoky is more accurate. I'll still eat it.

My secret salvage sans sauce is tomato soup. Pop some balsamic vinegar and spices into that and no one ever suspects it's not marinara:)

Yeah, I thought of the tomato soup but I thought it would be too bland...maybe I'll try that next time, GRIN.
