Good weekend, after the boy left with his father, I took off for the city house. Picked up P and R and went to Pride. We got there sometime after 3pm and could only stay for about 90 minutes because we had reservations at A Taste of India. Saw some folks I knew which I think is the best part of pride. Dinner was great and good company too. After we went home watched a couple of movies Hostel    which was a horrible scary horror movie that I could hardly watch and Waiting which was a whole lot better especially as it was comedy stuff related to waitressing (I did that for about five years).

We woke up and tried to get going to Pride again, I volunteered in a booth from 1-2pm as P walked around and got some great stuff. After I was done with my work, P got "the call" which was her job asking her to come to work. She agreed to let me walk around once and then we'd go. We ended up having a conversation before she left for work, it delayed her but it was a good conversation. Home again and now I'm realizing that my time off is coming to an end and I've got to get my butt moving. I've got some book reviews to write and cleaning to do as well as get packing for our trip. Essentially we're going to be packed by Thursday night and then I'll take her to work before we leave.

I'll be gone for more than 2 weeks, but perhaps I'll get a voice post in while we're gone.

I am glad that you had the nummy food. I have never eaten Indian food before...
I do not mind gore.. I will ask PJ about it. He is movie savant. He knows everything about movies and actors. I swear if he could get a job writing movie reviews w/o having to go to college that would be his perfect job! Or if they designed a college program to suite his specific skills and interests. Like they did for Dawn Prince-Hughes. I have read 2 of her books. *grins* What would be the chances?
