zestfiveToday I met up P at the local hospital to sit for R. R is having surgery that he's really happy to have. I think it's going to go just fine. I woke up early (too early for what I've been doing) and missed seeing R into surgery but hopefully he knew I was coming.
As I didn't have good sleep, I had a really short attention span. After reading the paper and a magazine, I had to start moving. It didn't help that it was a bit too warm in there. We walked to the local MickyD and ordered minutes before breakfast ended. Eventually walked back and waited some more. R came out mostly fine and was released to go home.
P mentioned to me that his first consult for this surgery didn't go well. This made me quite mad. R deserves just as much respect as anyone else, he's no different. I wanted to go talk to the Dr and give him a piece of my mind! Thankfully, R didn't give up and held his head high and found the Dr that did the surgery who was very nice and respectful.
I came home and napped. I'm going to help the boy print out his color stuff for his report. Tomorrow is his last day. I'm also going to do a little laundry.
