Thought I'd try a lj platform, anyone use these? I did try to do it a minute ago but then it closed down on me. Let's see how it works. you can bold things put things in italics what about the cross out ? I don't think it does that. I'm using LochJournal 2.2

well, to get things that are crossed out, you just need to type it in manually. I'm going to use brackets in my example but really you'd use the less-than and greater-than symbols:

[strike] word to be striked out [/strike]
So it'll look like this: word to be striked out

If you'd wanted bold, you'd just put the letter b in there instead of the word strike, or for italics, you'd put in the letter i, or for underline, the letter u. You can use combos of these things, too:

[strike]word to be striked, bolded, italicized, and underlined[/strike]
would be: word to be striked, bolded, italicized, and underlined

It just now occurred to me that you may of already known all this and were just saying that LochJournal doesn't do it. Whoops... sorry. :")

I tried the old default (I forget what it's called now) and LochJournal, but I always come back to Semagic. It is, by far, the one that works best for me. :)

Semagic has a strike button, but if you want to keep using LochJournal the tag is < strike > and < / strike > without the spaces.
