Seems that I'm going to be lucky to update my blog about once a week and it's going to consist of my weekend fun. I'm still adjusting to working full time but I recently peeked at what will be my paycheck ! NICE ! I'll likely be able to save $2k per paycheck (assuming that I don't go spending it on things that I could potentially do -- see this weekend's events further down).

Friday night, we took the boy to a scavenger hunt at one of the malls with the church group. I'm not sure what his expectations are but he said he didn't have as much fun as he expected. We were a little late returning back to get him, P and I got lost in the bookstore (we were almost locked in). As it was within minutes of A's father getting off of work, we dropped him off. Once we got home, we had an opportunity to learn about each other's communication style under stress (read as we had a "fight" or disagreement or misunderstanding or ?) worked it out and went to bed.

Saturday morning was up early to drive across the metro area to go to P's work. I hung out and read, worked on internet based stuff like bills and etc. We left and stopped at IKEA to pick up a few organizational things and shared hotdogs, chips and one of their cinn rolls. Another stop at Best Buy to purchase for a PC connection for P's Ipod, wireless card for my old laptop and a cable modemn/router that was also wireless(this actually required an exchange on Sunday). Quick stop at Target for hands-free headset for my cell phone and also found a higher quality rainbow umbrella. I'm not used to spending $$$ like that but since I saw my pay for the next few weeks, I could do it. I'm also going to try and pick up a new washer and look at what other minor house repairs I could do.

Sunday we got up to go pick up P's son and check out a small UU fellowship. The topic was about this guy's 10 1/2 month bike trip around the united states. It was good. Lunch at Boston Market before we saw "Nanny McPhee". Very nice day and the only downer was the games that A's father played with regards to getting A back to my house. Despite his claim that he couldn't do it because he was going to take a nap, he was up when I picked him up at 6:30p. P took a nap as she has to get up early, I snacked instead of making previously agreed something for dinner (A didn't want to eat, I was okay snacking and P didn't know what she wanted). Off to see the L word, which always seem to get really good just before it ends. We watch it at J's house. J has been involved with B but they ended up not watching it. I hope there's not too much trouble there but I fear there might be. B's younger and wilder than J and I hope J doesn't get her heart broken.

P talked about taking off the same week that I'll have off for spring break. I need to organize and clean my house. It's threatening to over take me.

Tonight I hope to stop at the library, work on some laundry, hook up the cable modemn and figure out my laptop. I also plan on making dinner and trying to go to bed early. I'd like to take a walk too but I don't think I'll have enough time. I hope that's a reasonable list. It seems I'm constantly making lists of things to do that I never finish and then I get frusterated with myself.

My officemate has this habit of making these sighing noises, grunts or something, I don't know if he realizes he's doing it. It's the kind of noise that one makes when you want them to acknowledge you so they can tell you something. I've ignored it but he continues to do it and it kinda drives me crazy, but what can you do.
