I love when networking works! I'm going to meet with another local college to do some work for them. Does that sound vague? Yeah, it is. The thing that makes me happy is that I had met a woman who works for another college at ACRL and gave her one of my business cards(with the mini-resume on it) and she passed it on to another person in another college who needed some help. The circumstances on why they need help isn't good, good energy to the person who's work I'm going to be temporarily doing, but yippee for me. Another college name on my resume and income just as I'm about to be done with my current assignment. I'll be working with periodicals and the newest pc-based microfilm/form readers. This could be any where from 2 weeks to a year depending out the outcome of the current staff member. I wish her the best outcome that she's looking for. I'll also be working with one of the best periodical people in the state.

See....I told myself if I came up with other plans instead of working...something would happen that would prevent me from acting on my other plans. Well, who know's what will really come of this all...
