I CAN'T believe it!!

My mother told me tonight, she voted for Bush. She said it was because she doesn't trust Kerry. This blows my mind. I wonder if she IS mentally ill. I don't get it because I don't know her as someone would could support Bush. Do I even know who she is? Perhaps when she had her experience when she felt god spoke to her, she really did have some mental health issues and they continue to progress!

As I knew my mother, she was an enviromentalist because she recycles everything she can and lives in a earth sheltered, wood stove heated house.
As a social worker, she supposedly cares about people, their well being and providing services to people who have run into a bit of trouble. I was brought up in a family that had family meetings and every person got to have a vote. Everyone counted. This seems in direct opposition to what Bush stands for.

I'm afraid that the evangelican church people have brainwashed her.
