Work is keeping me busy, I've got lots to do. Some of it sure seems like busy work. Here's a stack of catalogs that we've gotten in the mail, see if you want to order anything for the collection from them. I don't even know where to start, so I decided to do it by process of elimination. I'm going through them and crossing out all that we already own. It's a bit labor intensive.

Tonight is my late night. I didn't have to work until 1pm. I slept in a little and then balanced my checkbook (it had been about 6 weeks--but now it's current). I also gathered a lot of my tax paperwork and will need to make an appointment for my taxes. I hope I get as much back this year as I did last year! I plan on putting most of it in savings. Until I have a full time perm job, I don't want to count my eggs before they are hatched.

Last night I attended an UU fellowship meeting where someone spoke of a spiritual intention community. I had hear about this group before and even attended an event a number of years back. I'd like to participate in something like this. Interesting to see the pictures of their various events on the web. Wonder if they will be welcoming to a lesbian?

As I'm sitting here working, P's son came to say hello. I always kinda worried about seeing him up here, wasn't sure if I'd recognize him. It took me a minute and then my heart started racing. It was nice that he said hello but a little awkward.

::::::Busy weekend ahead:::::

Friday - work until 5 or 6pm, sister is coming over to get help planning a trip to learn how to surf over spring break with my son.
Saturday - work 10-6p then return a few things to Best Buy, try and purchase a wireless card for my old laptop. Dancing to Roxxy Hall's band at Lee's (if we've got the energy for it)
Sunday - church, then lunch at Old Chicago, see "Transamerica" at Uptown (with ex and some friends) then home before I go to J's to watch the L word.

This is a busy weekend and it doesn't allow for things I need to do like laundry or ? Life is sure busy! I want to figure out a way to be better with my time so I can enjoy it more. I wonder if I can multi-task well enough to do laundry during the week?

put some boneless pork chops in the crockpot with BBQ sauce, they broke up so nicely, the shredded BBQ pork was then put over garlic mashed potatoes and enjoyed some brocoli too!

It was great because I got to eat the leftovers for dinner tonight.
