Mar. 9th, 2005 09:10 amI'm really enjoying my spring break, wish I had even more time for it. Today I'm going to go celebrate a friend's new venture, we're going for a late lunch and then here http://www.comozooconservatory.org/ Tomorrow is time for another friend of mine, H. I'm not sure what our plans are yet.
I also need to get the cd burner from my old computer switched over to my new one. Clean out the old files in the old computer so I can give it to my sister. I also have the goal of writing an article about my dog sledding. R from SC is really encouraging me to do that. Despite me thinking I can't do it...I'm going to try. He said he'd be happy to look it over. I don't even know how to begin, that's the worst part.
I've got another jam packed weekend coming up.
Friday is a whole day of events for N's(old gf) bachelorette party. It's weird that she's getting married to a man, but stranger things have happened. I'm not going to the whole thing, not sure what parts I'll be at...we'll see.
Friday night I'm going to see "Women of Troy" with some friends from the WI adventure.
Saturday I've got to work, than 10-9-8 cards at A's. Afterwards I'm going to Lee's Liquor Lounge for Roxxy Hall. http://roxxyhallband.tripod.com/
Sunday is church and our speaker is Coleen Rowley (you might remember her, she's the whistleblowing FBI agent). I've heard her speak before but she was still employed as an agent and therefore couldn't speak as freely. Sunday afternoon I've been invited to a tupperware party, which normally I would NEVER go to, but it's a fundraiser for a friend of mine's explorer post. I was once an explorer (not for the Fire & Rescue, but for the Sherrif's dept).
Yippee, I just got called for an interview for Monday. For a full time perm job that is within easy commuting distance. Cross your fingers for me!
