Feb. 5th, 2004 07:33 pmSo I was listening to this book on tape about Stevie Wonder's mother...and it's obviously a black woman speaking...at one point she says "Woman..." in such a way that it reminded me of my ex T. It was kind of a weird thing and I thought back to that a bit...made me start to think about my need to be a "teacher" to women.
T lives in my town and refuses to speak to me. I wouldn't doubt that she has some kind of mental health issue...such as borderline personality disorder. I almost never see her because we do different things and run in different circles. I think the last three years I've seen her once or twice...mostly in her truck driving and once in McDonalds. I understand she works at Target stocking shelves.
So she was on my mind today....and sure enough while I was working at the library there is a group of girl scouts who are doing something with cookies and I saw her in the room. I don't know if she saw me...but my heart started pounding and it was hard to concentrate. It was pretty weird.
