Finally the weekend !!!
Aug. 29th, 2003 11:46 amIn the last couple of nights I've been able to watch a couple of movies, which happens EVER so rarely !
"Gia" which I was surprised at the show....advertised as this hot sexy movie(which some of it was...Yum !) but it was also really sad about how just as she gets her sh#t together, she dies of Aids. I also felt really sad for the woman she left behind, kinda relationship left not finished.
"Cast Away" with Tom Hanks, was pretty good. What an experience ! I don't know if I would have been able to survive something like that. I spoke to T about seeing it and he felt that Tom Hanks' character did not go hook up with the artist at the end. I think he did...what do you think ?
I'm so glad that the weekend is coming but I feel like I still have so much to do. I've got the usual stuff like clean the house(which is usually last on the list) and laundry. I've really gotten to the point where I want to get my house cleaned up and have it stay that way...but where is the time ? T also wants to get together with A to do Valleyfair, which I really don't want to do but it's become a tradition and A wants to do it.
I got an invite to A(a former coworker)'s party. I might actually be able to make this, it will be fun. Don't you hate it when you meet someone who you'd like to become better friends with but it doesn't seem like they want/have time/care to become friends with you ?
