Busy week as usual. I'm mostly gone from home for 12 hours Monday through Thursday. Friday through Sunday, I will be at ACRL(any other librarians going?). I've also got to get ready for another interview next Tuesday. Wish me luck, I think...it's 50+ miles away but it would be good for the resume. I also applied for a medical librarian...not my thing but I'll take it. if it's offered.

Have you ever thought you might be interested in someone, then decide "nope" before they even knew about it?

Yup... and I still thank god all the time that she never knew, because MAN does she bug the shit out of me now!

Oh, gosh, I hope that's not the case...I *do* like her.

Yes. Because I thought there was no way she could ever be interested in someone my age. Months later, she hooked up with some only a couple of years younger than me. Last I heard, they were still together. *sigh* Missed my chance.

How does your son manage your long days?

Yeah, this woman is a great catch, but she rents a room to her former partner, but they are still very connected. Her former partner still cooks all her meals and packs her lunches. In return her former partner lives in a space much nicer than she could afford solo and also gets her toenails clipped every month!

I would want to start a relationship with a single woman !

Regarding my son, he's 13 this month and is very responsible. Mostly he plays video games and watches TV...he's been very good about doing his homework on his own. B honor roll both semesters ! I personally don't like it and can't wait until I find some kind of job which doesn't require me to put in these hours. I try to think that it's only temporary. It would be nice if his father spent time with him during the week(considering he's getting ready for work-he works graveyard shift- and only 7 miles away!) GRRRrrr...
