Yippee !!!
I was so happy to get Kris Delmhorst's new CD in the mail yesterday. She has such GREAT lyrics.
My ex called to see if we would want to do anything with A before the end of summer. Despite the fact that he doesn't have much money, he was thinking it was okay to spend $50 on an activity, I was a little miffed because there is SO much that can be done for less...and likely I would end up driving and paying for gas and etc. If money is so tight than a bike ride, picnic and maybe rent a paddle boat for $5 at the local lake would be good enough. Simple pleasures...it's about bonding with the people not just the exciting activity. I feel that he is constantly looking for the next high from stuff and needs immediate gratification(Is this characteristic of an addictive personality ?). I think with that method of operation, you end up numbing yourself to the simple joys in life...like great music from Kris Delmhorst. GRIN
I'm not ready for summer to be over. It feels like it just started. I'm not ready to have to worry about school and working. I want to find a benefactor ! Does anyone know anyone I could appeal to ? GRIN I doubt that I could accept assistance from anyone anyways.

I think my buddy Maura just got this same CD. I'm sure I'll be exposed to her sooner or later. I'll let you know what I think...not that it matters so much ; )
