Writer's Block: City mouse or country mouse?
[Error: unknown template qotd]
Personally, I would like to live securely in the middle of about 10 acres of woods right in the center of a metropolitan area. I love the ruralness of woods and etc, the quiet and lack of people but I really enjoy access to all the things the city can provide (culture, arts and etc).
Otherwise, I want to live in a small progressive college town within an hour of a large metropolitan area. I need a group of progressive thinkers to socialize with (UU church?) but I don't want to be around too many people. I really enjoy having access to good thrift shops, interesting other shops and services and good grocery or other stores.
As the world becomes more global, the access to resources isn't so important (order online and have delivered) but the people are important.
