Yesterday was pretty schizophrenic for me. I didn't like it. At church, I was very happy and felt really supported when I announce my decision to quit my job and go to school full time during our joys and concerns. TK gave me a couple of CD's because she thought I would get overlooked for Mother's Day....I did.

She gave me Norah Jones newest CD and Patty Griffin's newest one. I have only been listening to Patty's CD. I love the longing that she sings in her music...perhaps I shouldn't listen though...considering my state of mind.

I should have gotten more sleep too....

You know, we should really hang out some time. We don't live THAT far apart, and I'm up in that general area a lot during the summer anyway. :)

I think we should! Let me know when you're in the area...Otherwise, Friday is another singles dinner at the Seafood Palace. I'm thinking of going, but I'd have to find childcare that day.

Hey,
Congratulations on the school decision. I hope it works out well for you :)

Thanks, I'm pretty sure the school will go well, I'm just hoping I can get a job when I'm done in the field!

Congratulations. I would *never* have the guts to do anything like that.

I have an old friend who got her second/graduate degree in library science. She's worked in the public library system for almost 20 years now.

Yeah, I'm feeling very excited to take this big risk...I haven't taken much risk in my life. This isn't too risky either...I've really planned this.

I hope to become an academic librarian...eventually part time!
