Today I had a nice lunch with a friend of mine. It was very nice. Driving home, I got to listen to "The Time Traveler's wife" which so far is very good. I'm really enjoying it but I almost fell asleep in my car. I eventually pulled over in the grocery store parking lot to rest until I went in. I'm just not accustomed to getting as much sleep as I have been.

I start my adjunct hours in about 2 weeks and I'm very excited about it. Knowing when I start is going to let me relax and enjoy my time off. Cleaning, reading and job hunting are my plans in addition to having lunch with friends who are working.

I'm also reading "East Toward Dawn" which is about a soon to be 60 year old woman's solo journey around the world.

Both of the above mentioned books were on my list to read once I could recreationally read again so I'm excited to get to them. I'm a little suprised that the first book's "time traveler" is a cataloger and the author of the second book is a reference librarian. How cool is that?

Hope you're all having a good day...
