Busy weekend

I hate it. I stayed home from work on Friday because I though that I had to work on Saturday. Turns out that it's next Saturday not this Saturday. ARGH. What that means is that last week I worked a 4 day week and next week (this week) I work a 6 day week. Friday I spent most of the day working with my computers and talking to tech support. I've FINALLY got my cable modem (versus leased) and router (with wireless) hooked up. I STILL don't have my laptop's wireless card working yet (software makes the computer freeze up before fully installed). Although, I'm pleased to say that thanks to some folks online, they helped me find the drivers for my laptop which help with sound, color and etc.

We also cleaned up the living room and the basement room where the computer and TV is. It looked so much nicer! Next I hope to finally get my computer downstairs. The bedroom needs to be thoroughly cleaned and I need to go through my closet (and dresser) and clear out everything I don't where anymore.

Saturday P worked (because she thought I was going to work) so I stayed home working on the darn computers that I could never get going. Satuday night was a party that was great. The food was pretty amazing. P and I got to learn a little more about communicating with each other. This lead to a later night than we should have (cause we were up talking) but an enjoying Sunday morning to re-connect after some hard conversation. Needless to say, we missed church and she was almost late to work. On the last minute to ensure that she would join me for a few hours dancing with my best friend who's birthday is tomorrow, I drove her to work. Before returning home, I stopped at the cheap grocery store (Aldi's) home to drop off groceries and quick do my hair before coffee with my group. It was pretty small because of the party the night before. We had a good time before we were off and running for the remaining Sunday hours. I picked up P at work. She works part time at a local recreational equipment co-op. They have a climbing wall which is open to employees before the store opens. One of the staff had a heart attack while climbing, they had to belay him down and do CPR on him before the ambulence came. I think that shook her up, he was only in his 50's and in good shape. The store let the staff who where there at the time go home because they were pretty shook up. From work, we drove to go dancing, we got there in time for lessons and danced a couple of dances. Had a couple people tell us how cute we looked together :-)

Anyways, not enough sleep as usual and despite waking up with P (read as EARLY) I was about 10 minutes late for work but luckily noone cares. Hopefully we'll catch up tonight!
