zestfive | another weekend

This weekend was the annual new year's gala. We had a blast, I'll post a picture as soon as I get a good one. We looked oh, so cute together! We danced the whole night, previously she's not been much of a dancer(apparently we inspire each other!). Had dinner with a number of friends http://pingsmpls.com/ and it was all good. Sunday was breakfast at Hell's Kitchen http://www.hellskitcheninc.com/ with another group of friends and then finally left the Hotel. Drop off her tux and then to coffee with another group, our usual spot recently changed hours and not open so we have to change venues. darn it! Home for a "nap" which turned out to be some good intimate time for conversation before we were up and running to go see the L word. Not having had dinner, our friend P whipped us up a couple of grilled cheese sandwiches(how funny, orginally I wrote girl cheese! GRIN, YUM). I had to stop and pick up some kitty food and that took FOREVER, next time people, I would LOVE it if when I'm only buying 2 things and you have your cart packed, you'd be so kind as to let me go before you. Oh well, home for more intimate conversation with the woman that I love, before drifting off to sleep. Morning comes to early and I can rarely go back to sleep after she's left, so here I am checking email, reading posts and realizing again, I'm pushing the clock. Shower and get ready for work so I can hurry home again for my love.
