zestfiveSunday was church(T was in better spirits thankfully), coffee with the gang in my town. A few folks showed up and had good conversation. P and I were able to have something to eat, yum. Our goal was to get the tree up, but it just never happened. We ran out of time. I did get the living room cleaned up a little more and vacuumed. It's just a matter of time now.
Monday was job interview, liked the idea of the job, lots of variety...there's the commute and what's the pay? Who knows, she said she'd like to make a decision by the end of the week. Home to laundry and other misc things. I've got to get caught up on balancing my checkbook and getting this months bills sent out. Happily, I was able to purchase P's gift and I can't wait to give it to her. It's something I'm inspired to do, I hope she likes the gift. Monday night work it was so slow. A's present (bass guitar) was delivered and I wasn't sure if I should bring it home or not. I'm glad I didn't because despite my instructions to him NOT to go into my room, he was in there. I'm sure he saw some of the gifts but only the boring ones like new pjs, a new shirt and his very own set of fingernail clippers so he'll quit taking mine!
P came over earlier than I expected, we talked a little before going to sleep but then woke up almost 2 hours before her alarm was suppose to go off and she still ended up late for work. How is it that I wake up at 2:30am and I'm almost late for work too? I didn't have to be there until 9am!
