Quick note to say I'm back. I plan on posting more later. I had a really good vacation. Sadly P who flew with a different airline stand by got stuck in Salt Lake City. She should be home very soon. I also got back to learn that I forgot to pay my car insurance and I was almost canceled, Oops! I took care of that and pretty quick I'll be doing the rest of my bills for the month.

I'm pretty sure that I won't be going to the conference I had hoped to attend. With bad budgets, I think they are saying no to out of state travel.

This means that I want to go somewhere (WARM) for spring break. I would be available anytime from March 14 through to the 22nd. P has that time off too. I want to go somewhere warm that won't have too many college student spring breakers. Do you have any suggestions? I don't want to spend too much money. I just want to enjoy being in warm weather and water (lake, ocean, indoor pool...don't care) Definition of warm is more than 60 degrees F. I don't care if it's a cruise or just go to warm weather and hang out.

Where have you gone that has been the best experience for you?

I'm waiting for the house to warm up (I had the temp set at 60 while we were gone). My driveway is an ice rink. We got home last night at 11:30pm. We hauled everything in the house and went to bed. P had to go to work this morning. I woke up and got her off and slept in a little more. There's so much to do here regarding unpacking and cleaning up. I'm going to try to work on that his week.

Teh boy is not going. He's decided that he doesn't want to feel like a third wheel. This is a little frusturating to us because we went out of way to accomodate him. I think he really wanted someone his age to have along and we told him he could take a friend but he never pursued that either. (he told me he was afraid that he wouldn't get along with whoever he invited after two weeks).

He's going to stay with his Dad for a week and then he's going to have to figure out where he's going to go for the next week.

On one hand, it's very frusturating for me to try and figure out all that stuff and I told him that once he makes this decision, there's no changing his mind. I'm surprised that he doesn't want to go.

On the other hand.....

P and I are going on a two week trip alone. We won't have to accomodate the boy and now we can do all adult things and not have to consider the boy. We can drive long stretches at a time (the boy didn't like long driving). We don't have to worry so much about scheduled meals (the boy did) and etc.

P's now talking that we should check out the Boston area too! Where would you go towards the eastern side of the states if you could? What would you see?

My biggest frusturation would be on the last minute the boy would have to come and all our plans would be shot.

I want to take a trip during my time off (3 weeks after Christmas) but my son goes back to school on Jan 3. Still...I could see if my sister would take care of him while I'm gone. I wonder where I would go cheap...

Today I had planned to go to the Jeffers Petroglyphs  and the  darn boy had agreed to go with me but after hearing that the ride was going to 3+ hours one way, he changed his mind. I'm disappointed. He also didn't want to go to DQ to celebrate his last day of school. Then I suppose I should understand that he's 14 and doesn't really want to go places with his mother. P was going to go with me but she's still taking care of her son, I think that's important. When I whined to her about the boy, I decided to go alone but she said she'd go on Saturday. I hope that works out.

Yesterday I spent the day doing like 10 loads of laundry. I really have to go through all of my clothes and get rid of what I don't wear anymore, I'm running out of clothes hangers. I considered buying more hangers but realized that if I only empty some of them that I don't wear, I won't need to.

I should really go and do something productive, but I don't want to. I could clean out my closets, fold the last load of laundry in the dryer, match socks, take a walk or start the book I'm going to be reviewing. I could also go out to coffee, run into the city for thrift shopping and aldi shopping, but I don't want to. What do I want to do?

I think the above list is just so I can complain and hopefully motivate myself.

I just figured out how to download and import my transactions directly into my microsoft money accounts, but then for whatever reason a couple of desposits disappeared. I was able to finally locate them and put them back but I was a little concerned that I wouldn't be able to cover the mortgage.
